Perfumery Diffusive power of this note is underestimated and even traces can ruin a perfume in the 'wrong' combination. However, it can do wonders for some compositions, including oriental bases, aldehydic-herbaceous topnotes, chypres, fougeres, lavender compositions and new mown hay bases.
